Family Fun, Culture, and Wildlife Await at Sunset at the Zoo

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is extending the wild fun into the evening with the return of its popular Sunset at the Zoo event series. Kicking off this year on Friday, May 23, 2025, the event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering guests a unique opportunity to experience the Zoo after hours.

May’s event will spotlight and celebrate Native American and Alaska Native heritage, featuring themed keeper chats, live music, food trucks, and local vendors. Visitors can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with entertainment sponsored by TD Bank.

Sunset at the Zoo is presented by Orlando Health and allows the Zoo to reopen its gates at 5 p.m., welcoming guests to explore until sunset. The last admission is at 7:30 p.m., so visitors are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the evening.

In addition to extended hours and cultural festivities, the event offers significant savings on admission. Advance tickets are just $6, a more than 70% discount off the regular general admission price. Families can also take advantage of a Family 4-Pack, which includes four tickets, four hot dogs, and four fountain drinks for just $44. Please note that this special event is not included in Annual Pass Holder benefits.
