Get ready for an unforgettable new chapter in nighttime magic—“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” is making its grand debut at Magic Kingdom on July 20, 2025. This all-new nighttime parade promises to light up the park with breathtaking floats, state-of-the-art lighting, and beloved characters that span generations of Disney storytelling.
The parade opens with a shining symbol of wonder and wishes: the Blue Fairy. Her shimmering wand and twinkling light set the tone, inviting guests to wish upon a star and begin their dream-filled journey. From there, guests are swept into vibrant scenes from some of Disney’s most cherished stories. A float inspired by Coco brings Miguel to the parade route, strumming his guitar beneath a glowing marigold bridge while the mystical Pepita soars above. Asha from Wish appears under the radiant branches of the wishing tree alongside Valentino and Star, embodying the hope and heart of the film.
From the lush magic of Encanto comes a float brimming with color and movement, where Isabela swings gracefully from floral vines and the rest of the Madrigal family joins the celebration. Moana rises above the crowd atop an ocean wave, her spirit of adventure mirrored in the float’s fluid design. In a charming nod to Disney Legend Mary Blair’s iconic artistic style, a float carrying some of Disney’s most beloved royal couples glides through, including Cinderella and Prince Charming, Tiana and Prince Naveen, and Belle and the Beast.
The grand finale is a whimsical train, reminiscent of the classic Main Street Electrical Parade, and it’s full of familiar faces: Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Snow White and Dopey, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Aladdin and Jasmine—all leading up to a dazzling finish with Mickey and Minnie Mouse waving to the crowd.
Music plays a huge role in creating the magic of Disney Starlight. An original theme song carries guests through each scene, while the parade’s technology transforms the night. The Blue Fairy herself is made entirely of points of light, twinkling like a star in the sky. The Encanto float uses curved LED panels to bring Casita’s magical movements to life, creating a visual experience unlike anything seen before.
Of course, no Disney experience would be complete without a bit of themed merchandise and tasty treats. Guests can shop exclusive “Disney Starlight” apparel like t-shirts and cozy blankets, or grab light-up Mickey ears, collectible pins, and synchronized bubble wands. The Main Street Confectionary will offer a sweet treat inspired by the parade—a dreamy blend of bubble gum and blue raspberry candy popcorn, M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies, mini-marshmallows, and a drizzle of white chocolate.
With its blend of cutting-edge creativity, emotional storytelling, and pure Disney magic, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” is set to be a must-see addition to Magic Kingdom’s nighttime lineup. Mark your calendar, and get ready to dream the night away this summer.
